why is it that diapers made for those who wear them for fun(yes some people wear diapers that don't need them) are made 10 times better than the ones made for some one like me who has to wear them? I know the answer to that but it still bothers me. I can of course buy the good brands online but so many incontinent folks have no idea of what's out there so they use what they can find and quality of life can be less than if they knew about premium brands available online.

Most of the premium online brands are designed for people who need them (all except those with "baby" prints I guess!), but I suppose stores and the medical profession must want to buy/promote the cheap stuff. The message is that thin and discreet is best, probably as more changes means more profits. Also most people don't like buying them off the shelf which is why online sales dominate.

I too find the need for using a diaper challenging. Before I did some research I was a slave to hopefully finding sale then the embarrassment of standing in a checkout line with bags of Depend brand briefs. Terrible. After the stores like CVS and Walgreen's stop stocking the briefs over the "new" underwear I was forced to search on line. I did find and now buy a case of 60 diapers once a month from Unique Wellness.com and plastic pants from B4NS.com. Both products work wonderful and the people I deal with are non judgmental. A tip for finding the Wellness Diapers on sale is to shop for then near the end of the month. Then you will save 15 percent. In summary I sometimes get depressed with my incontinence but I do not miss standing in a long line with four green bags of Depends

Thank you for reaching out. I'm glad you have accepted being incontinent. Life becomes much more enjoyable once you do.

I always disliked how the AB/DL folks "took over" an incontinence site that was set up for people needing diapers to help one another with support and tips. "Real" incon sites need moderation to keep out unwanted posts.
