Incontinence, Diapers, and Disability
Welcome from the editor
![]() My name is Kevin Cline and I go by Isa. I'm a Pansexual, Demisexual, Queer, 32 year old dad and I recently came out as Non Binary. I also have other disabilities and am Neuro Divergent. I have dreams and aspirations and lead a very active life. I thoroughly enjoy being a dad and I enjoy my life and yet I have a problem that affects millions of people but no one wants to talk about: urinary or bowel incontinence. I happen to have both and I wear diapers to help me live the most fullest active life possible. This website and blog will be my way of educating people but also share what I go through every day including embarrassing moments. I will also share thoughts on why its so hard to talk about adult diapers and incontinence. I will include videos from time to time but will devote much of my time to writing on my adventures as an incontinent diaper wearing dad. I will also write about disability in general and am especially interested in the inter-sectionality of disabilities and the connections that exist with other oppressed groups i.e disabled and Queer, disabled and person of color, disabled and a woman, disabled and Trans and or Non-Binary etc. We do live in a society where having a disability often times means things things like poverty, loneliness, not being taken seriously, if one is an adult, being treated like a child or always having people talk for you, lack of access to things like employment and transportation and being used for #InspirationPorn which is something that benefits the media, non profit organizations that purport to serve people with disabilities, and individuals who dont have disabilities but what it means for us, is being used as accessories..like play things... Feel free to add me on twitter @IconDiaperDad. You can also find me from time to time in the chat room on the DiaperDad Chat Room page. Remember to check back here from time to time to see if anything has changed and if the blog has a new post up. Lastly, if you are dealing with incontinence or some one you love, whether an adult or child, is living with incontinence, please remember life is what you make of it. Accept your condition and start learning how to live with it. It will seem like a daunting task at first and I totally get it. Incontinence is embarrassing. Having to wear diapers is embarrassing but trust me: Carpe Diem! (Latin for Seize the day) This is a lesson that took me many years to learn. Once I choose my path, life became something I could really enjoy. You can enjoy it too! One of the things I have noticed, is that most incontinence sites/blogs are either way serious(its a serious issue) or deal a lot with treatment and cures(for some people, incontinence becomes a permanent part of their life). Few deal with coming to terms with and living with incontinence and none involve any sort of humor probably because people must look hard to find any humor in something as embarrassing and tough as incontinence but It is my hope, with this site, that I can accomplish just that. OMG! DIAPERS! RUN! So>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>: |
