First understand that if your state participates in the Medicaid program, your diapers and other incontinence needs could be covered (for any one age 4 and up). Please contact your local office that deals with state Medicaid coverage. If you live in Washington State like I do, then they are covered, as mine are. ObamaCare (ACA) has not changed this. If you represent an organization or company and want to be listed as a resource (or you just know of a good resource, please email me or use the contact form. Email: [email protected]. I also do reviews especially for new products. Foundations and Organizations Foundations Simon Foundation for Continence Organizations National Diaper Bank Network New Haven, CT · diaperbanknetwork.org NDBN is dedicated to ensuring every child in the United States has enough diapers to remain clean, dry and healthy. #Underwareness or #DropYourPants campaign
Check it out! WHAT IS UNDERWARENESS? Underwareness* is both a social movement and a charitable cause. Over 65 million Americans experience bladder leakage, and nearly half of them are under age 50. But nobody wants to talk about it. Until now. EVERY SHARE = $1 For each of our photos or videos shared, and every tweet or Instagram post tagged #Underwarenessor #DropYourPants, Depend® will donate $1 to charity — up to $3 million over 3 years†. †Up to $1 million per year Companies NE Mobility This company ships nation wide. Their primary brand and most competitively priced, is the Prevail brand...the brand I wear. Its not the best but if your incontinence is severe and you need to wear a diaper, its significantly better than trusting your compromised bladder and or bowel control and risk a visible accident. There are premium diapers out there and I my self have some but prevail seems to be the go to medicaid covered brand although I know state by state, medicaid tends to cover 3-5 cheap generic brands. They reason being that its cheaper in the short term to pay for more diapers on the front in rather than paying more up front from better diapers and saving in the long run with the use of fewer diaper every day... This company contacted me and requested permission to list/write about this site on their linked in network as an incontinence resource. They also had the respect to ask me about my preferred name and pronouns so I would consider them trans friendly. They do accept Medicaid in New York and offer free samples/ http://www.nemobility.com/supply-solutions |

#DelicioslyDisabled Campaign by Andrew Morrison Gurza
Andrew's webpage
I started the Deliciously Disabled campaign in an effort to provide a new model to discuss the lived experience of Persons with Disabilities. Currently, the language we use to categorize PwD is in my view, outdated and only focuses on the difficulties in difference. Deliciously Disabled offers a new language to describe disability that embraces disability not for what it could or should be, but for all that it is. The Deliciously Disabled movement allows for us to create conversations around disability that are based in positivity, and that both Persons with Disabilities and non-disabled individuals can use when discussing disability. Deliciously Disabled helps everyone access disability.
It is my hope that through Deliciously Disabled we can move disability into popular culture in a positive, fun, and sexy way. Being disabled is not a choice but being Deliciously Disabled is!
Join the movement on social media as a#DeliciouslyDisabled individual yourself or a#DeliciouslyDisabledAlly, and let’s start a delectable discussion about disability.
